You’ll take home the utensil you’ve made, plus all you need to finish your piece, including wood balm and care instructions. Fiona Glover of Twig to Table will take you on your spoon carving journey.
Fiona is a Canberra-based maker and teacher who has sold woodenware hand carved from seasoned hardwoods that are recycled, or offcuts from furniture making that would otherwise go to waste. Her pieces have been sold under the label Twig to Table at selected gallery shops and outlets. Fiona has a lifelong interest in woodcraft and design, and shares the meditative process of spoon carving through teaching workshops in the ACT and NSW. In her day job Fiona assists in Design & Technology at a local school, and is raising three creative young people of her own.
