Come and build yourself while you build a stylish piece of furniture using timber otherwise destined for landfill.
The bench seat is about angles & thinking and planning around the construction process, how & in what order to put the timber pieces you’ve created together to create the final piece of furniture.
In this workshop building a bench seat is the vehicle to teach you all about the drop saw or mitre saw or combination saw. You’ll learn how to use them safely, their uses & potential.
As with all our project-based workshops, you will learn the basics of measuring & marking (how to get it right from the very start!), the magical ease of clamps, an introduction into some woodwork hand tool staples, & and to get to a point where a drill & a driver are an extension of your own hands!
